Tai Chi Chuan

Muay Thai
Muay Thai originates from Thailand. It was used in warfare, as a means of self defence and eventually became the national sport. Passed down orally and through demonstration from family to family, early accounts of contests date back to the 1700's.
FACT Martial Arts
FACT is a personally developed martial art that combines a lifetime of training
in numerous fighting techniques. These techniques include traditional boxing,
Tae Kwon Do, Brazilian Ju
Jitsu, Zen Do Kai Karate, Muay Thai Kickboxing as well as lessons learnt
from real life situations.
Effective self defence comes from having a confidence that is built on the
knowledge of being
able to deal with any situation that presents itself. Gaining this confidence
only comes via having
learnt not only the drills of techniques but the principles behind what the
technique is trying
to achieve. Being able to draw on many different styles gives many different
answers to the
same problem. "A person that reads only one book shall only ever know
one story” hence being
able to draw on many years of “cross training" FACT was created.
FACT is designed for people of all ages and sizes to be able to train at
their own pace and levels
with an ambience to take the time as seriously or as casually as you feel.
The system welcomes
and encourages all students to actively participate in the classes by seeking
answers to
situations and scenarios. Once again drawing on the principle of gaining
knowledge.
In basics FACT will give the student the ability to control as best they
can any situation, be it
from a standup encounter to wrestling on the ground and everything in between
using any and
all available techniques.
